It’s coming again

A strong earthquake magnitude 7 is striking the whole world. It is caused by the imminent release of the new season of Game of Thrones. This release is provoking excitement and bunny hops. These bunny hops are suspected to be the reason of the earthquake. This overexcitement is also causing an increase in hormones, early periods in women and the appearance of the period in men.

But, what is Game of Thrones? Game of Thrones is the only TV series where you will need a family book, a map and a genealogical tree while watching it, in order to understand what is going on and where. Some of its viewers claim that it is easier to memorise the periodic table than the characters of this show. In fact, according to a study carried out by the University of Starkland, there are more characters in Game of Thrones than grammes of cocaine in Justing Bieber’s body.

The huge amount of characters is a mere entertainment for what it is really important: the blonde girl rider of dragons. Because if you have a blonde girl and dragons, what are you expected to do? Pay attention to the political issues that a dwarf has to deal with? Keep asking who the hell is Roose Bolton or if the Lannisters are the blonde ones? Of course not. You just what to see the mother of dragons kicking asses.

When is Game of Thrones going to finish? Game of Thrones is not going to finish. It will remain encrusted in our lives like a rainy day in London, until one day, the end of the series is announced due to a drop in the levels of audience. Then, the interest for the show will increase again, and what is thought to be the end, will be a new beginning. By then, the human race will be living in a different planet, and the broadcast will be intergalactic, instead of international.

We have records of this kind of never ending stories in Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, or One Piece. Not to mention whatever character that came out of the Stan Lee’s mind (Spiderman, The Avengers, etc). Therefore, we find ourselves in a cyclic historical moment where the only thing that moves forward is technology and science, but the mainstream stories are the usual. It will be great that one of these stories could finish for good, to never be told again.

And enough “winter is coming”. Winter has come six times since Game of Thrones exists on TV, except in Finland, where it never left.
